Designed to endure

When you choose our PVC-U products you have the peace of mind that your windows are built to last. Our window frames have been independently assessed and certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA). Furthermore, all frames come with a ten-year guarantee against discolouration, warping and cracking. In fact, PVC-U windows have a life expectancy of 35 years (source: BRE).

Horsford Window Features

Our ranges of open-out Casement Windows  provide increased insulation, security and unbeatable performance, and are suitable for all properties. 

Comprising top hung vents, side hung casements and fixed lights, all windows are fabricated to BS7412 or BS 7950 requirements

All vents and casements are hinged using stainless steel friction hinges, and locking or non-locking handles are available in a variety of finishes.

The windows are fitted with mushroom-headed espagnolettes, which include shoot bolts as standard for added security and are fitted with a night vent facility.  When fitted with high security hardware, all windows meet BS7950 standards.

This range of products offer an egress function on side hung casement windows that allows them to open to a full 90° for emergency exit, satisfying the requirements of Document B of the Building Regulations.

The profile produces a rigid multi-chambered profile that meets BS EN 12608 standards and is manufactured to BS EN ISO 9001. For added security specific members of the profile are reinforced with galvanised mild steel or aluminum sections to BS7412 sealed within the profile central cavity.
